Born and raised in Africa, I quickly discovered at an early age that no amount of time set aside for travelling would ever be enough, so I decided to jump careers and work in travel and I’ve travelled constantly since! 

As a child, my ideals of Africa were based on East Africa with its vast and beautiful landscapes, it was these dreams that shaped my 12-year career in the safari industry. I have been privileged to experience much of what Africa has to offer as a safari travel destination, not only in the capacity as Porter, Guide, Visitor but also as a buyer. Met so many incredible people, saw the most beautiful things across the region, done craziest things like bungee jumping (Leap over the source of the River Nile a 44m high), rafting, and Zip-lining.  

It’s through my observation and taking notice of beautiful Africa that I wanted people around the world to see what it’s so special about Africa that no image on a television or passage in a book could ever properly capture. But I also wanted to preserve Africa in the process when the idea of Inquisitive Africa was born.

More recently, I have had the privilege of sharing a Serengeti Safari with my family and three children Marwin,  Lefteris, Louise and this has taught me that an African safari is the ultimate family travel experience. Looking at Africa afresh, through the eyes of children, is both a humbling and invigorating experience.
